Molly and Brian had their boho wedding at the Des Moines wedding venue, Rollins Mansion. Rollins is arguably one of the nicest wedding venues in Des Moines, Iowa. With it’s grand size, beautiful garden and spacious indoor venue, it’s perfect for a wedding anytime of year. This unique wedding venue was built in 1927 and turned into a wedding venue in 2012.
It’s not a surprise out of all of the wedding venues in Iowa that Molly and Brian chose the mansion. It has cozy spaces such as the library and the study to get ready in and enjoy the cocktail hour. Their boho decor, art deco wedding dress and classic navy suits paired well with this wedding venue. Their easy-going spirit allowed them to have a fun time on their wedding day with their family and friends!
The mansion is close to downtown, where you can find plenty of hotels for your guests to stay in, as well as a variety of food options. Some of my favorites are Americana, The Iowa Taproom, and The Angry Goldfish. Just a few of my favorite hotels downtown Des Moines include The Surety, Des Lux Hotel, and Hotel Fort Des Moines.
The outdoor areas at this venue are top notch. You could have your entire wedding day outside if you wanted to. Their gardens are the perfect spot for your ceremony and the courtyard is just the right size for your reception party.
This wedding in Des Moines, IA is one of my favorites, but it wouldn’t have been perfect with out the best wedding vendors in Iowa!
