I’m so stoked to finally get these photos on the blog!
This 70’s styled shoot was totally a dream to photograph. This was put together by an incredible team of vendors and I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of this.
This styled shoot had it all. Boho vibes, retro backdrops and details, unique florals, beautiful hair and makeup and a killer dress. I loved everything about this shoot. I even brought a couple of my old film cameras to use. The Icon Lounge in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was the perfect venue for this. The original hardwood floors, exposed brick and high ceilings just totally elevated the boho-chic vibes happening with all of the details.
Jane Rae Events did a fantastic job planning this unique shoot. From the color theme, to the rentals they chose from Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals, the florals they put together and the stationary they created. They styled this perfectly. As if it wasn’t perfect enough, the dress and acessories they brought in from Marie and Marie Bridal from downtown fit the bill to a T.
The main backdrop blew my mind when I walked in though. The bright, solid colors meshed so well with the patterned couch and rug. I love the asymetrical look of the background with the florals staggered on either side. It was so pretty!
The cake was seriously the cutest though. Bakologie totally outdid herself with that cake. Paired with that wicker privacy screen and bridal bouquet – *chef’s kiss*.
Lastly, Tommy from Ivory and Fern is always a treat to work with. He came in as the videographer for the shoot and he did amazing as always!
